Here I have displayed some of my work I have created using various materials and techniques, I enjoy experimenting with unusual items and being creative with fashion.

Paper Dress

I made this using mathematics test papers which I stained with tea bags. They were papers that I had recently worked on and after taking my exams I decided to focus on this experience and create something using these materials.

Loaffer Dress

I took 40 loaffers apart and experimented with ways of wearing them on the body to creating garments.

Architectural Garments

I focused on taking shapes and colour from various buildings old and new. I wanted to reflect a strong and confident woman just like a building that stands tall and strong.

Twins

I focused on looking at the similarites and differences between a set of twins, I used their old clothes to create these garments.

Book Dress

I folded all the pages of books in different ways and liked the effected they made, I created this skirt using a dozon books.

Glass Window Skirt

I focused on glass windows from churches and created my own pattern that I laser cut into the fabric, with an underneath layer of sheer two-toned fabric to represent light shining through.

Promotion Project

I did a group promotion project looking at Vaniety Fair magazine and the theme interiors, we produced a 40 page magazine. These are two adverts we created based on wallpaper.

Trend Forecast Project

I predicted that architecture was going to play a part in autumn/winter 2011/2012 collections. I styled this image for my trend forecast.
